Want to know what cancer looks like in our home?
It looks like trying to sleep in every extra minute he can. Or midday naps over the weekend.
It looks like waking from a dead sleep to puke two hours after bedtime for no reason except that’s what happens. And just wanting to cuddle on the couch after doing so.
It looks like crying because he just doesn’t feel “right”…. But him taking a few more minutes in bed to decide he’s going to plow through and try to get through the school day.
THIS is the face of cancer in my home, complete with a tear running down his face.
